Scientific Facts
Citrine is in the mineral class of quartz. It takes its color from the traces of iron in the quartz and can be anything from pale yellow to bright shades of amber. Citrine has a hexagonal crystal system and in its natural form has a cloudy or smoky look.
This is an upcycled piece, made from old jewelry. Reusing and recycling already created jewelry pieced is about the most ethical way to source them. However because they are second hand, we don't know who originally made them or where the stones come from unless otherwise stated in the description.
